Why Not Me . . . .

At the heart of Too Tight Du is the belief that growth comes from perseverance, faith, and the willingness to step into your purpose. After retirement, I found myself reflecting on what truly makes life fulfilling. For me, it's always been about creating—whether through hairstyling, designing, sewing, or DIY projects. These have been constant threads woven throughout my life, bringing me joy and meaning.

I started Too Tight Du because I saw a need in the wig-wearing community for better storage solutions—something that would be both functional and beautiful. This business is an extension of my lifelong passion for turning everyday moments into something special, whether it's a hairstyle, a piece of clothing, or a handcrafted project.

As a Black, Christian woman, I believe that the key to growth is not just dreaming but doing—taking that leap, even when the path isn’t clear. It’s about trusting that each step brings you closer to your purpose. Too Tight Du isn’t just a business to me; it’s a labor of love built on faith, dedication, and the desire to offer something of value to others.
